Hey hey hey, happy new month!
we are back again with a few more gems. I wanted to go more in details about two important documents needed when starting your online business. I also wanted to share a few of my favorite online vendors for ladies wear.
*The first document you’ll need is a resale certificate or certificate of authority.
What is a Resale Certificate?
A resale certificate is a document proving that you are a legitimate retailer or purchaser and are buying products to either resell or use as component parts of products you plan to resell.
You can obtain your resale certificate via your state website- for NY see below.
www.tax.ny.gov- resale certificate or certificate of Authority
*The second important document is your TIN number.
TIN is a Taxpayer Identification Number used by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in the administration of tax laws. It is issued by the IRS.
You will need to apply for your TIN number first as it is needed to obtain a resale certificate.
You can obtain your TIN number via- irs.gov and search TIN number to apply.
Both of these documents are free of charge.
On another note, i wanted to share a few of my favorite online vendors. You can find thousands of vendors online via fashiongo.net or lashowroom.com. So it can be a bit overwhelming to know which vendors to choose. So I've listed 5 of my favorite vendors below. These are women clothing vendors.
1. sjk fashion
3. red velvet
I like these vendors because the quality of their items is amazing and the prices are relatively low. When searching for vendors on the online wholesale websites, you always want to choose manufacturers over distributors. The wholesale prices from manufacturers are lower than that of distributors.
I hope this was helpful :). Make sure to comment and share.
